HUAWEI P40 CAMPAIGN

We did this campaign with photographer ZhongLin in March when covid-19 situation was rife. It was the start of a new way of producing as the creatives and clients are unable to attend the shoot. This is also a joint inter-city efforts between Ogilvy Hong Kong, Singapore, Guangzhou and Taiwan.
As the main selling point of Huawei P40 is in its camera, the client has an even higher expectation for photography unlike other campaigns. The campaign is not just seen as a marketing tool but it need to resonates with users from all over the world on huawei’s unique camera features, AI technology, and 5G capability. Visuals should have strong impact and be rich in color and high editorial-like quality. A concerted effort by all the parties parties results in a polished and high quality campaign that well executed within 2 days.
这是一条在疫情期间,国界封禁的特殊时期,通过各方线上连线来执行的拍摄,拍摄在摄影师ZhongLin所在地台湾展开。我们的制片在新加坡和上海,创意和客户则在香港广州两地,前期沟通都通过无数个电话会议来完成。客户创意没有飞来拍摄现场,所以拍摄也通过远程监控和沟通来完成。好在我们没有时差,在各方的努力和配合下,我们最终收获了令人满意的成片。
因为华为P40的卖点是它的摄影功能,客户对这次的拍摄有着比往常更高的期待和要求。这个广告项目不是仅仅被当作一个营销工具,更在于引导全球消费者来理解华为独特的摄影功能,AI技术和5G运用。我们在合理的预算下,通过高效的沟通,成功克服了疫情带来的拍摄困难,在两天内完成了高质量的拍摄。
